I am doing a tea dance fundraiser the Sunday after Thanksgiving, 11/25 for Safe Consumption Spaces! The theme (but costume not necessary) is Super Heroes! Rainbow Ball & Gala Fundraiser

Please join us as we present the 2018 Rainbow Ball and Gala Fundraiser and Concert, an evening featuring dance-themed music, dinner and fundraising on October 20, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Seattle Renaissance Hotel.

Attendees will be treated to an elegant, fun-filled evening including a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auctions, and a full slate of concert band music.

Concert band musical selections feature traditional and popular dance music including Danzon from Fancy Free (Bernstein), Symphonic Dance No. 3: Fiesta (Williams), Suite of Old American Dances (Bennett), and Just Dance (Lady Gaga) among others.

Sister of the Corn!

 

The Sisters are going to be out in full force, lurking in the corn field waiting see all the fabulous costumes put together by the region’s most fabulous ghouls, goblins, ghosts and other creepy things (like bell bottoms. Bell bottoms scare us.)

Join us as everyone’s favorite neighborhood bar, R Place, for fun with friends and the best libations in Seattle. Be sure to arrive early as this event is going to be the hottest place to be in Seattle on Halloween night!

And to top off the night there is a costume contest! Sisters will be judging all the costumes, and at 11pm the winners will be announced from the 3rd floor stage. And the best costume will walk away with $1000 in their pocket!

Seattle AIDS Walk Picnic

Join us on Saturday, September 29th for the biggest picnic Seattle has ever seen at the Seattle AIDS Walk & Picnic! This is an event you do not want to miss: we will start with a short walk through Volunteer Park, then we will come together for the greatest picnic yet. The Chicken Soup Brigade will be on hand providing a BBQ lunch for a suggested $5 donation, or you can BYOB (bring your own blanket) and snacks!

The Seattle AIDS Walk & Picnic is pup friendly (bring your furriest of friends!) and will include our famous beer and mimosa garden (let’s party!), but there will also be family-friendly activities for the little walkers in your life. This community event raises funds and awareness for people affected by HIV.

Confess Your Sins, and make room for new ones. Bring your guilt, baggage, and tales of sins large and small to the Cuff and unburden yourself for a donation of $5 per sin or $20 for all-you-can-confess then receive your penance. You can be flogged or spanked, subjected to gentle humiliation, or recite aloud the Madonna lyrics of the Sister’s choosing. One hell of a good time!

Stella Steps Out 2018

Ready for a lively evening of dancing, food & drinks, and remembrance, to support BABES Network – YWCA? Join us for Stella Steps Out 2018 at our new venue Sodo Park! Help us celebrate the work of BABES Network – YWCA, a unique program that provides critical peer support to women facing HIV and their families.

Enjoy an exciting evening hosted by Sister Glo Euro’N Wei and featuring our 2018 Stella Honoree, Dr. Shireesha Dhanireddy. Shireesha is the Assistant Director of the Madison Clinic and Director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic. She strives tirelessly to improve the health and well-being of some of the most underserved patients in the region.

All event proceeds will go directly to support BABES Network – YWCA and fund services that empower more than 200 women living with HIV each year.
